Literature Text

Phantom phoenix, your lullaby--
broken like the wind over sandy shores--
promises my heart will halt
when you sneak, shy, into my veins, but...
Crescendo--my pulse cries
as your tail feathers tangle with
my fist, clenched clam-tight to your name.
:iconglory-be-project: Day I think I got it right this time.
:iconnapowrimo: Day 2

And for real this time, guys--this is for :iconnapowrimo:'s Week 1 Prompt Challenge--
The Prompt: Describe a setting/person/object without using the sense of sight; taste, touch, hear and smell are all game.
The Challenge: Using that prompt, write an Alliterisen. To explain it briefly, an alliterisen is a seven-line poem that has two alliterations per line and a specific syllable structure:

    1st line- x syllables
    2nd line- x+2 syllables
    3rd line- x-1 syllables
    4th line- (x+2)-1 syllables
    5th line- x-2 syllables
    6th line- (x+2)-2 syllables
    7th line- x syllables

where x can be whatever number of syllables you like. For this challenge, the rhyming scheme, AABBCCD, is optional. Click the link provided above for more information and two examples, one with rhyming and one without.

Once again...writing this without using sight as a sense was HARD!
