Literature Text

Wolf languid smiles blur grey edges,
fox quick eyes and fingers tremble,
butterfly kisses and matching heart flutters
strip away the silence that our hearts have too long contained.
Don't breathe too quickly or you'll inhale passion,

a drug that kills you slowly, completely, and ever so sweetly.

  • Crushed butterfly wings on velvet fingers.

Dreams forgotten breathe to renewal,
memories grow beneath decaying leaves
with honey glazed edges where razors used to be
to coalesce into a revenant epitaph.
    You're such a beautiful nightmare and Idon'tthinkIwanttowakeup.

So now I lay me down to sleep,

  • and I'll do it without praying if you don't mind.

VERY nice. i like the disjointed style and the vibrant imagery.
