Literature Text

Hope is the thing with feathers
diving for dreams;
we grow accustomed to the dark
and this sleep of mine, whatever sleep it is,
adjusts itself to midnight.

Though the stars walk backward,
I have come after them and made repair.

Eternity floated a blossoming
and he unrolled his feathers
with, "Let us look at the sky."

This is for bloodawni, who requested I write a cento using lines from my favorite non-dA poets.

I chose some of my favorite lines from ee cummings, Robert Frost, and Emily Dickinson.

You picked out the best lines from each person and combined them into something beautiful.
Also, Robert Frost is awesome.
