So please don't ask me how
I ended up at my wits' end,
uh huh. Cause life's like this:
there's something in your eyes
I know I can't resist.
Outta my way, outta my day;
I'm feeling disillusioned
and I can't stop thinking about you now.
This old bar stool's feeling higher
cause I've started sinking lower.
Carve your heart out yourself;
hopelessness is your cell.
Another turning point,
a fork stuck in the road--
train, roll on, roll on down the line.
Won't you please take me far away?
My hands are searching for you...
:iconglory-be-project: Day 30 (one month is almost over! According to my notebook, I've written...49 pieces [plus a few revisions here and there] so far!)

THIS came about from DrippingWords's First Line Poetry concept, where you put your iPod on shuffle, hit play, take the first lines (or first few, depending on how they ended) of the first 10 songs that came up and mesh them together to make a poem.  THIS is my third attempt at it--the others REEEEEALLY didn't work out, but I like this one I think.

GOGOGO check out the other versions of this form so far:

I just realised.. I have at least one song from I think every singer/band mentioned except Adelita's Way. Those are some crazy odds, man.
