Literature Text

I am a dominant gene; live as I die
in all the pictures that I've seen
At night. I hear it creeping--
I've been looking at people
hanging on this post
and I can see you turn away.
Don't tell me that this is your last chance to change;
my guilt and my shame always sell me short, always feel the same.
Oh yes, I'm the great pretender;
you came calling
and it's another night in hell.
:iconglory-be-project: Day I'm tired, it's music, don't ask.

Another First Line Poem

I used the following songs:
Title=All I Wanted, by Paramore
30/30-150, by Stone Sour
Can't Hold a Halo to You, by Joe Nichols
Scared, by Three Days Grace
What's Forever For, by Billy Gilman
Scarecrow, by Skillet
The Woman Before Me, by Trisha Yearwood
Atrophy, by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Sulfur, by Slipknot
The Great Pretender, by The Platters
Wash Away Those Years, by Creed
Amen, by Kid Rock
